What is Rewaly?
Rewaly keeps your loyalty cards, memberships, gift cards and coupons in one place, and reminds you before they expire.
Is Rewaly free to download?
Yes. Rewaly is free to download for iPhone and Android. Our Terms explain how the service is offered.
How do I add a reward?
Tap + in the app. You can scan a card or screenshot, scan a barcode, or type the details in yourself.
How does adding by photo work?
Take a photo of a gift card or coupon, or pick a screenshot. Rewaly reads the details and shows them to you. You check and edit them, and nothing is saved until you confirm.
Can I add a brand that isn’t in the list?
Yes. You can add it yourself and start using it straight away.
Does Rewaly connect to my loyalty accounts?
No. Rewaly doesn’t connect to your loyalty accounts or update balances for you. You add and update what you keep.
Will Rewaly remind me before things expire?
Yes. Rewaly reminds you before a reward or membership expires, using the dates you’ve entered. You can turn notifications off in your device settings.
Who can I share a reward with?
Another Rewaly user, found by their email address. They need a Rewaly account. Gift cards are shared whole; coupons can be shared whole or item by item.
What happens if they don’t accept?
The reward is locked while the share is waiting. If they decline, or don’t accept within 7 days, it comes back to you.
Can someone else help manage my rewards?
Yes. Invite someone you trust from the app. They need a Rewaly account first, and you can remove them any time.
What can I keep for a membership?
The member number, tier, start and end dates, renewal date, billing cycle and your own notes.
Can I send someone a gift card?
Yes. Buy one in the app and email it. The recipient doesn’t need an account beforehand; they verify their email with a one-time code to claim it.
How are my details protected?
Card numbers, PINs and codes are encrypted with AES-256-GCM before they leave your phone. We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.
Who else can see my data?
Only people you invite, and the providers that help us run Rewaly for a specific purpose, such as payment or gift card fulfilment. The Privacy Policy lists them.
How do I delete my account?
Use the delete account page on this website. It explains what is removed.
