You can delete your Rewaly account and all associated data at any time. This page explains how to submit a deletion request, what data will be removed, and what (if anything) may be retained for legal or safety reasons.
Option 1 — Delete from within the app
The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the Rewaly app:
- Open the Rewaly app and sign in.
- Go to Settings (tap your profile icon in the top-right corner).
- Scroll down and tap Close Account.
- Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Your account and all associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days.
Option 2 — Submit a deletion request by email
If you are unable to access the app, you can request account deletion by emailing us at support@rewaly.com with the subject line "Account Deletion Request". Please include the email address associated with your Rewaly account so we can locate and delete your data.
We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days.
This action is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all your loyalty cards, rewards, gift cards, coupons, transactions, and notes will be permanently removed and cannot be recovered.
What data is deleted
When you delete your Rewaly account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account credentials (email address and authentication tokens)
- All loyalty program cards and associated data
- Gift card numbers, balances, and notes
- Coupon codes and usage history
- Transaction records and activity logs
- Push notification tokens and device identifiers
- Any other personal information linked to your account
What data may be retained
In limited circumstances, we may retain certain data after account deletion where required by law or for legitimate operational purposes:
- Legal compliance: Data required to be retained under applicable laws or regulations.
- Fraud prevention and security: Minimal records necessary to prevent abuse, detect fraud, or enforce our Terms of Service.
Any retained data is kept only for as long as necessary and is not used for any other purpose.
Note: If you have an active subscription or pending transactions, please cancel your subscription before requesting account deletion. Contact support@rewaly.com if you need assistance with this before proceeding.
