Give a reward to someone who'll actually use it
Got a gift card you won't use, or a coupon code that isn't your style? Share it with another Rewaly user in a couple of taps — right from your wallet, no codes to copy or paste.
Pick a reward, enter an email, done
Open any gift card or coupon in your wallet and tap Share. Enter the recipient's email — Rewaly looks up their account so you can confirm who you're sending to before anything is sent. If a reward has more than one coupon code, you choose exactly which ones go, code by code.
- ✓Share a full gift card, or full/partial coupon codes
- ✓Recipient confirmed by account lookup before you send
- ✓Pick specific coupon codes when a reward has more than one
- ✓No codes to copy, screenshot, or text to anyone
Locked, never lost, until they say yes
The moment you send a share, that reward is locked so it can't be used twice — but it stays right there in your wallet. Your recipient gets an email, a push notification, and an in-app alert, and has 7 days to accept. If they don't, or you change your mind first, it's released straight back to you, exactly as it was.
- ✓Locked while pending, so it can never be used twice
- ✓Recipient notified by email, push, and in-app alert
- ✓7 days to accept before the share automatically expires
- ✓Cancel any time before they accept — it comes right back
Whatever you're giving away, it fits
Reward Sharing adapts to what the reward actually is.
Full Gift Card
Share the whole card, remaining balance and all. It moves entirely into the recipient's wallet once they accept — gift cards are shared all or nothing.
Full Coupon Set
A reward with one coupon code, or several you want to give away together, goes across as a complete set in a single share.
Pick Specific Codes
Got several coupon codes on one reward but only want to give away one or two? Choose exactly which codes to send — the rest stay in your wallet, untouched.
Frequently asked questions
Reward Sharing lets you give an unused gift card or coupon code to another Rewaly user, right from the app, instead of letting it go to waste. They accept it and it moves straight into their own wallet.
Anyone who already has a Rewaly account — you enter their email address and Rewaly looks up their account for you. Sharing to someone without a Rewaly account isn't supported yet; they'd need to create a free account first.
Yes. If a reward has more than one unused coupon code, you can pick exactly which ones to send when you share it — the rest stay right where they are, in your own wallet.
It's locked as soon as you send the share, so you can't accidentally use it while it's pending — but it stays visible in your wallet the whole time. If the recipient accepts, it moves into their wallet. If they don't accept within 7 days, or you cancel the share yourself, it's released straight back to you, unchanged.
Yes, any time before the recipient accepts it. Once they've accepted, the transfer is final and can't be undone.
Yes — you'll get an email, a push notification, and an in-app notification (via the bell icon), plus a card on your Home screen for any share still waiting on your response, so it's hard to miss.
